Full-Time Qualified Level 2/3 BSL Learning Support Assistant – Wokingham
Start Date: 17th October 2025

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Wokingham to recruit a dedicated Level 2/3 BSL Qualified Learning Support Assistant. This is a full-time position starting on 17th October, supporting deaf children within the classroom and across the school.

Role Overview:

• Provide tailored support for deaf pupils to ensure equal access to the curriculum

• Use British Sign Language (BSL) to aid communication and understanding

• Work alongside class teachers and the SEN team to create an inclusive learning environment

• Support pupils’ social and emotional development as well as academic progress

What we’re looking for:

• A qualified Level 2/3 BSL Learning Support Assistant (essential)

• Previous experience supporting children with hearing impairments is desirable

• Someone who is patient, empathetic, and passionate about inclusive education

• A team player who can also work independently when needed
