Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor

£100–£105 per day (Cover Supervisor rate)

Are you a graduate or aspiring educator looking to gain hands-on experience in schools? We are recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work as Teaching Assistants or Cover Supervisors across a range of primary and secondary schools in Wigan.

The Role

Supporting pupils in the classroom as a Teaching Assistant

Delivering pre-planned lessons as a Cover Supervisor

Working with students across a range of abilities

Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment

Gaining valuable classroom experience in local schools
What We’re Looking For

Graduates or individuals with experience working with young people

Confident, reliable, and adaptable individuals
-
A genuine interest in education and student development
-
Strong communication and classroom presence
-
Previous school experience is beneficial but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
