Teaching Personnel is working with schools across Stockport and Tameside to recruit enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants for the new academic year. Whether you're experienced or coming from a background in care, youth work, coaching, or support work, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
✅ Supporting pupils with SEMH needs and behavioural challenges
✅ Providing 1:1 and small-group support
✅ Building positive relationships that boost confidence and engagement
✅ Helping create safe, inclusive, and structured learning environments

- Experience working with children or young people, or a strong desire to start in education
- A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
- Confidence supporting, or willingness to learn how to support, challenging behaviour
- Availability Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
