A welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Salisbury is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September 2025 on a part-time basis (0.4 FTE).

This rewarding role involves supporting students with a range of learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum and develop their confidence, independence, and academic skills. Working closely with teaching staff, you will play a key role in ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed.

The role:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs

• Assisting in the preparation and adaptation of learning materials

• Supporting classroom management and encouraging positive behaviour

• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to support student progress

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting

• Be patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education

• Show excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Be willing to learn and develop their skills through training and feedback
