UNQUALIFIED Learning Support Assistant –Pembroke
Monday – Friday (Full time and part time role available)
8:30 – 3:30 – No weekends!
We are delighted to be working in Partnership with a Special Educational Needs Schools in the Pembroke area. The schools support children pefrom 3 to 19 years of age with Special Educational Needs. The schools are currently seeking both full-time and part-time members of staff to join their team of educators.
The role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be required to support the young people in both their personal and educational development based on their individual development plan. This will be provided to you by the school via their assessment process to help aid you in how to support the children. The support will be both in and outside the classroom as sensory and practical lessons are hugely relied on to make an impact in the school.
Providing a positive mental attitude and promoting independence within the school will be essential to ensure a strong relationship is built with both you and the young person, as well as creating a positive correlation between the children and education.
You will be provided training to ensure you are in a confident position to support the young people. This will be provided from both Teaching Personnel and the school.

Have the ability to get Pembroke during the time of 8:30 – 3:30
2 referee’s which can provide references
A positive attitude with a strong will to help others
A knowledge or willingness to learn how to children within an alternative education environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
