Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Daventry.

The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SENCo to provide tailored support to students, both in and out of the classroom. You will play a key role in promoting engagement, confidence, and independence.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), including those with EHCPs

• Assisting in the delivery of lessons across a range of subjects

• Providing one-to-one or small group interventions

• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning

• Helping to adapt learning materials to meet individual needs

• Monitoring and recording student progress

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or educational setting

• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs

• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
