Learning Support Assistant – Secondary Schools – Northampton
Location: Northampton and surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate or September 2025
Salary: £89–£100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Are you passionate about supporting young people in education? Do you want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with additional learning needs? Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in secondary schools across Northampton.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students with special educational needs (SEN) or learning difficulties to access the curriculum and thrive in a classroom setting. Working closely with teachers and SENCOs, you will support students on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, or within the classroom environment.
Ideal candidates will have:

Previous experience working with young people or in education (formal or informal)
-
A patient, nurturing, and proactive attitude
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
A good standard of literacy and numeracy
-
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant Diploma) – desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
