Learning Support Assistants – Secondary Schools

Secondary schools across Northamptonshire are seeking Learning Support Assistants to join their inclusion and SEND teams from September.

You’ll work 1:1 or in small groups with students who need extra support due to special educational needs, social challenges or low confidence.

Role overview:

• Support academic progress and personal development

• Work closely with SENCO and teachers

• Help pupils overcome barriers to learning

• Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment

We are looking for individuals who are:

• Empathetic and calm under pressure

• Passionate about inclusion and SEND

• Experienced in a support or care capacity (not essential but preferred)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
