Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – SEN Secondary Schools
Location: Farnborough
Pay: £13.75 – £14.20 per hour (from 1st April)
Flexible days | Term time only | School hours
Start date: ASAP

We are currently seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in SEN secondary schools across Farnborough. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people with additional learning needs while benefiting from flexible working during school hours and term time.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support students with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning and develop confidence within the classroom.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in lessons and during school activities

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support

  • Assisting teachers with classroom activities and behaviour support

  • Encouraging student engagement, independence, and confidence

  • Supporting students’ emotional and social development

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience is desirable but not essential)

  • A patient, supportive, and positive attitude

  • An Enhanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

  • Right to work in the UK
