Learning Support Assistant – SEN Secondary Schools
Location: Dibden
Pay: £13.75 per hour
Hours: Full-time or Part-time

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work in SEN secondary schools in Dibden. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and helping them succeed in their education.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Support secondary-aged pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 or small group basis
-
Assist teachers with classroom learning, differentiation, and behaviour support
-
Support pupils’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development
-
Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
-
Support pupils with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties
Requirements
-
Experience working with children or young people (secondary school, SEN, care, youth work, or similar settings preferred)
-
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
-
A genuine interest in supporting young people with additional needs
-
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
-
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
