Learning Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Congleton who are looking for a part-time Learning Support Assistant to start in January. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone considering a career within education but seeking further experience.

About the role:

• Start-date: 5^th January
• Ongoing until the end of the academic year
• Daily pay rate of £90-£95 (based off experience)

As a Learning Support Assistant within a primary school, you will support across both KS1 and KS2. This will include general classroom support, PPA cover and 1-1/small group interventions when necessary. You will work closely with the Class Teacher to identify students who require additional learning/behavioural support, creating and implementing individualised plans.

• Experience working with primary-aged pupils
• A genuine passion for working with young people and improving their learning experience
• A calm, empathetic and patient approach to behaviour management
• Safeguarding training to be completed upon registering with Teaching Personnel
