Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of primary school pupils who require additional support? Do you have the skills and empathy to work with young children with complex additional needs who come from the most deprived areas of Bristol? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
Teaching Personnel are looking for proative and engaging teaching assistant to join their team. You will be working in a two form entry primary school in South Bristol that is currently focusing on extending learning opportunities for all children. As a result of this, the school has invested money into new equipment to expose more children to unique learning opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Providing One-on-One Support: Offering individualised support to pupils to help them overcome emotional and behavioural barriers to learning.
-Classroom Assistance: Assisting teachers in managing classroom dynamics, fostering a positive atmosphere, and ensuring that students can engage in the learning process,
-Behavioural Interventions: Implementing behavioural management strategies to de-escalate situations and support students in developing self-regulation skills.
You will need to be experienced supporting children, however not necessarily in a school environment.
Pay: up to £95 a day
Hours: 08:30am -15:30pm
Type: Monday-Friday Full time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
