We are working with a number of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools across Bath and the surrounding areas who are looking to appoint dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support students who require additional help with their learning, wellbeing, and development.

Whether you have previous school-based experience or come from a background in care, youth work, coaching, mentoring, psychology, residential support, or SEND services, we would love to hear from you.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, SENDCOs, and pastoral teams to support students both inside and outside the classroom.
You may provide:
- 1:1 support for individual students.
- Small group intervention sessions.
- Support for students with SEND, Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
- Behaviour and emotional wellbeing support.
- Assistance with classroom activities to promote engagement and confidence.
- Support with literacy, numeracy, and academic development.
- Encouragement for students to become more independent learners.

- Have experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
