Salary Details: £13.75 an hour

Hours of work:   Part-time (32.50hrs per week, 8.30-3.30pm), Term Time Only

Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking to make a real difference in an engaging primary school?

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant for a friendly and supportive primary school based in Andover. The school is offering a rewarding role where you’ll play a vital part in helping young learners thrive. Working alongside the class teacher to best meet the needs of the children, your role will involve small group work, 1-1 support, school trips and playground and lunchtime duties.

The educator will be passionate about supporting children and helping them to develop independence.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar education support role is essential
  • Experience with SEN children is beneficial
  • Calm, resilient and flexible in their approach to working within a team to support pupils in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
  • Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
  • Confident working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils
  • Able to build strong, nurturing relationships with pupils and staff
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
