Attention Secondary Educators Seeking New Opportunities in September 2024!
Are you adept at teaching in intimate settings, whether it's small group dynamics or one-to-one instruction?
We are actively seeking tutors to engage proactively with pupils who require additional educational support. These individuals may find themselves out of the traditional schooling system due to various circumstances, such as:
- Recent relocation to the area
- Transitioning into the care system
- Newly identified special educational needs demanding specialised attention
As a tutor, your mission will be to craft personalised tutoring programmes delivered either individually or in small groups. The demand is particularly high for tutors capable of guiding Secondary students in areas such as Literacy, Numeracy, and Science.
Sessions are likely to be held in the student's home or at mutually agreed public venues, such as libraries. Opportunities span across Nottinghamshire, with a current focus on Bilborough (NG8) and surrounding areas.
Our ideal candidate possesses:
- Teaching qualifications, tutoring experience, or relevant Teaching Assistant background
- Proven experience working closely with Secondary students (or primary-aged pupils)
- Flexibility and adaptability to tailor sessions to individual needs
- A nurturing and composed demeanour, fostering a conducive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
