KS2 Teaching Assistant – Years 4, 5 & 6

Are you an experienced and proactive KS2 Teaching Assistant looking for your next long‑term opportunity?
We are supporting a welcoming primary school seeking a confident TA with solid experience across Years 4, 5 and 6, who can immediately add value in upper KS2 classrooms.

About the Role

Supporting teaching and learning across Years 4–6
Delivering small‑group and 1:1 interventions
Providing structured support in reading, writing, maths, and SPaG
Assisting with Year 6 SATs preparation
Helping pupils who are working below age‑related expectations
Supporting behaviour management using consistent strategies
General classroom duties including resources, displays, and pastoral support

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

12+ months’ experience in KS2, ideally in Y4–Y6
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
Confidence delivering academic interventions independently
Excellent behaviour management skills
A positive, proactive, and resilient attitude
Experience supporting SEN pupils is advantageous
