KS2 General Teaching Assistant

Start Date: Immediate

Location: Speke, Liverpool (L24)

Contract Type: Full-time | Long-term – end of AY

Key Stage: KS2 (Years 3–6)

Pay: £14.25–£15.00 per hour, dependent on experience

About the Role

An inclusive primary school in the Speke area is looking to appoint a committed General Teaching Assistant to work across KS2. This is a long-term, full-time position supporting pupils throughout the school day.

Working alongside the class teacher, you will play an active part in delivering engaging lessons, supporting small group interventions and providing individual support where required. You will also help to create a calm, encouraging classroom environment, supporting both learning outcomes and pupils’ emotional development. Day-to-day responsibilities will include classroom preparation, behaviour support and contributing to positive routines.
