KS2 Teacher – Long-Term Role (September 2026 Start)

A welcoming and supportive primary school located in Wells is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become a key role within the school community.
The school is ideally looking for a full-time teacher, however part-time applicants will be considered for the right educator who can bring strong classroom practice and a commitment to pupil progress.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous KS2 teaching experience (essential)
- Hold QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
- Demonstrate strong behaviour and classroom management skills
- Have a good understanding of SEN needs and inclusive teaching strategies
- Be committed, adaptable, and passionate about delivering engaging lessons
Role Details:
- Start Date: September 2026
- Location: Wells
- Contract Type: Long-term placement
- Salary: Paid to scale (M1–M6)
- Hours: Full-time preferred (part-time considered)
Recruitment Process:
All applicants will complete a thorough recruitment process through Teaching Personnel, including:
- An in-depth vetting and safeguarding check
- An initial interview with the Head of School
- A lesson observation prior to starting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
