KS2 Teacher – Full Academic Year Contract

Location: Amesbury
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time, Fixed Term (1 Academic Year)
Salary: M1–M6 Teacher Pay Scale (Dependent on Experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming school community in Amesbury  from September 2026 on a full academic year contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to play a key role in settling in a new cohort for the start of the academic year, helping pupils make a confident and positive transition into KS2 while creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment.

The Role:

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead and support a KS2 class throughout the academic year
  • Help prepare pupils for a successful start to the new school year
  • Establish positive routines, expectations, and classroom culture
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that support academic progress
  • Encourage pupils’ personal development, confidence, and wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have previous experience teaching within KS2
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Be passionate about supporting pupils both academically and personally
  • Show excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Thrive in a nurturing and team-focused environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
