Position: KS1 Teaching Assistant
Location: NG7, Nottingham
Salary: £85 - £100 Per Day
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP

Teaching Personnel is a leading education recruitment agency dedicated to connecting talented educators with rewarding opportunities. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in the NG7 area of Nottingham.

Job Description:
As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher to deliver high-quality education and care to young learners. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the planning and preparation of lessons.
  • Supporting individual and small group learning activities.
  • Helping to maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Providing one-on-one support for pupils with special educational needs.
  • Contributing to the overall welfare and development of the children.
  • Engaging with parents and carers to provide updates on pupil progress.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A genuine passion for working with children in a primary school setting.
  • Experience working with KS1 pupils is highly desirable.
  • A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • An understanding of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children.
