Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a passionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant to work on a regular basis within one of our welcoming infant schools in Southampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with EYFS and Key Stage 1 experience who enjoys variety and is confident supporting children across Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. The school is looking for a proactive and nurturing individual who can seamlessly integrate into different classrooms and provide high-quality support wherever it is needed.

The Role:

• Supporting learning across EYFS and KS1

• Working alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons

• Providing small group interventions and targeted support

• Assisting with phonics, early reading and foundational maths skills

• Supporting children’s social development and positive behaviour

• Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has recent experience within EYFS and/or KS1

• Has a strong understanding of early phonics and early years development

• Is flexible and happy to work across the key stage

• Builds positive relationships with pupils and staff quickly

• Brings energy, creativity and a genuine enthusiasm for primary education
