Job Description

As a KS1 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and encouraged

  • Differentiating learning to meet a range of abilities and individual needs

  • Assessing pupil progress using formative and summative methods and providing constructive feedback

  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

  • Participating in school activities, events, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching KS1 is desirable, though ECTs are encouraged to apply

  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

  • A genuine passion for early years and primary education
