Teaching Personnel is pleased to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Part-Time Year 2 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Tiverton, Devon.
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support pupils as they consolidate key skills and prepare for the transition into KS2.

What You’ll Do

Deliver creative, well-structured Year 2 lessons

Support pupils with phonics, reading, writing, and maths

Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage expectations

Create a warm, positive, and inclusive classroom environment

Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
-
Promote pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
-
Uphold safeguarding and child welfare at all times

Qualified Teacher Status (ECTs welcome)

Good understanding of the Year 2 / KS1 curriculum

Positive, nurturing approach to classroom practice

Strong communication and behaviour management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
