Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or possess an equivalent certification that validates your teaching qualifications.
- Successfully completed a PGCE qualification.
- Possess a child-only Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Proven experience in effectively teaching primary school-aged children, showcasing your ability to engage and inspire young learners.
- Comprehensive understanding of the national curriculum.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing you to establish positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Embrace a growth mindset and exhibit a genuine passion for continuous professional development, staying updated with the latest teaching strategies.
- Full eligibility to work in the UK, ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engaging teaching materials, arrange the classroom environment, and curate attractive displays.
- Design and deliver well-structured lessons, catering to the needs of individual students and facilitating small group learning.
- Assess and provide feedback on student work, while actively engaging with parents and caregivers to discuss their children's progress.
- Supervise and coordinate the tasks of supporting teaching assistants.
- Adhere to safeguarding protocols and collaborate with educational contacts and social workers as necessary.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
