Contract- Full-time

Rate of Pay: From £125 to £232.56

We are excited to share a fantastic new opportunity available through Teaching Personnel. We are currently supporting a warm, inclusive and welcoming primary school located in the Oxton area. This role is ideal for a teacher seeking a fresh and rewarding challenge, with the drive and passion to make a meaningful impact on pupils’ educational journeys.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver accurate, engaging lessons to a class of KS1 pupils in line with both school expectations and the National Curriculum.
  • Create a welcoming, nurturing classroom environment that supports every pupil’s personal growth and wellbeing.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to colleagues to support consistency and high‑quality teaching practice.
  • Liaise effectively with parents and external agencies to ensure strong communication and coordinated support for pupils.
  • Regularly assess pupil progress to ensure targets are being met, identifying any areas for improvement and implementing additional support where needed.

What are we looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching KS1 classes.
  • Good communication and time-management skills.
  • Clear and good understanding of safeguarding.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
