Job description

Full-Time KS1 Teacher – Bolton

Start: April 2026

Teaching Personnel are currently working with an inclusive and nurturing primary school in Bolton who are looking to appoint a committed and motivated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team on a full‑time basis from after the Easter break.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Take responsibility for a KS1 class on a full‑time basis
  • Deliver engaging, creative and age‑appropriate lessons that support early learning and development
  • Foster a safe, supportive and well‑structured classroom environment
  • Track, assess and support pupil progress across core subjects
  • Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and learning styles
  • Work closely with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure positive outcomes
  • Play an active role in the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of early learning and phonics
  • Has effective behaviour management and nurturing classroom practice
  • Is enthusiastic, adaptable and child‑centred in their approach
  • Can commit to full‑time work from after February half‑term

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
