Job Description

A popular Ormskirk primary school is seeking a skilled KS1 Class Teacher for the summer term. The school is looking for someone who can immediately make a positive impact on pupil learning and who may be interested in progressing into a permanent position. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, committed, and confident delivering the KS1 curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching engaging lessons across KS1 subjects
  • Supporting pupils with targeted interventions
  • Contributing to classroom organisation and planning
  • Creating a warm and motivating learning atmosphere
  • Working effectively with the wider school team
  • Ensuring pupil safety, progress, and wellbeing

Requirements

  • QTS and KS1 classroom experience
  • Strong understanding of early primary development
  • Ability to motivate and inspire pupils
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to school values and safeguarding
