Key Stage 2 - Year 5/6 Teaching Assistant Required for "Good" Primary School, Salford, M7 – January Start

Key Stage 2 - Year 5 or Year 6 Teaching Assistant.

Working closely with Key Stage 2 Teaching Team delivering Maths and English support.

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a good Primary School in the Kersal area of Salford, M7, to look for a Year 5 or Year 6 Teaching Assistant join their key stage 2 department from September. Due to the desire to create further teaching opportunities within school, the position of Year 5 or Year 6 teaching assistant will be starting in January or sooner with a view to continuing for the rest of the academic year.

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a recently graded “Good” school under the new OFSTED framework. This flagship school within the Kersal area of Salford offer great facilities and a support network within their Key Stage 2 department. With a focus on SATS preparation and a creative, cross-curricular approach to teaching, the school’s facilities are second to none to allow for a high standard of teaching and learning to go along with their proud awards for pupil premium expenditure.

As a key stage 2 teaching assistant, experience of supporting Maths and English is key and the confidence to build in nurture and social aspects of learning to your teaching would be beneficial. In addition, a passion for working with mixed ability and high levels of SEN children would serve you well. In return, the school would offer all the support and CPD possible.
