Key Stage 2 Teacher Required

Start Date: September 2025

Pay Rate: £130 - £180 per day

Location: Wigan, WN4

Contract: Full time, Temporary Introduction (With a Golden Handshake offer of £100 upon securing a permanent position)

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school just off the A58 in Ashton-In-Makerfield who are looking for a Key Stage 2 Teacher for a Year 6 class starting in September. Your role will involve providing engaging lessons and ensuring that each child is supported in their learning journey.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Child Workforce DBS on the update service.
• Have secure knowledge of the National Curriculum and the assessments that link to this.
• Experience working with Key Stage 2 students, particularly Year 6.
• Be enthusiastic and have a hands on approach to helping pupils achieve their goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents and colleagues.
