Are you an experienced cleaner who takes pride in creating safe, welcoming and well-maintained environments? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a specialist education setting in the Beaminster area from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who understands the importance of maintaining a clean and organised environment where children and young people with additional needs can feel comfortable, supported and ready to learn.
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Cleaner to become an important part of the wider school community. Working behind the scenes, you will help ensure that classrooms, shared spaces and facilities are maintained to a high standard every day.
- Cleaning classrooms, communal areas and staff spaces
- Ensuring hygiene standards are consistently met
- Supporting a safe and positive environment for pupils, staff and visitors
- Following health and safety procedures and cleaning guidelines
- Managing tasks independently and efficiently throughout the working day
This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week, spread across five morning shifts and five afternoon shifts.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who has previous cleaning experience and can confidently step into the role ready to make an immediate contribution. Experience working within an educational, care or specialist environment would be beneficial, but the key qualities we value are reliability, attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Has previous professional cleaning experience
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards
- Can work independently and manage daily responsibilities effectively
- Understands the importance of creating safe spaces for children and young people
- Is dependable, organised and committed to being part of a supportive team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
