Are you a qualified Humanities Teacher looking for a new role starting after February Half-term, or Easter Holidays?If so, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

Teaching Personnel has partnered with a multi-school Trust who are looking for numerous Geography, History and Religious Education Teachers to fill their vacancies within north-east Manchester. With options for long-term and short-term roles, this is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic, engaging and committed educators. We welcome both experienced Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECT).

Within this position, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality lessons in your specialist subject. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging learning experiences, assessing student progress, and contributing to the ongoing development of the subject's curriculum. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge in at least one Humanities area and a passion for inspiring young people to understand the world.

Requirements

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential.
  • A degree in a relevant Humanities subject (Geography, History, RE, or related field).
  • References from the last 24 months.
  • Availability for interviews/trial days.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for teaching Humanities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
