Humanities Teacher – Camberley & Surrounding Areas

We are currently recruiting an inspiring and dedicated Humanities Teacher to work in welcoming and high-achieving secondary schools in Camberley and the surrounding areas of Surrey.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented teacher of History, Geography, or Religious Studies (or a combination) to join supportive departments committed to academic excellence and student development.

ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.


The Role

As a Humanities Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

  • Teach your Humanities specialism (History, Geography and/or Religious Studies)

  • Plan, assess, and monitor student progress

  • Inspire critical thinking and curiosity about the world

  • Maintain strong classroom management and positive behaviour

  • Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities


The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Has experience teaching Humanities in UK secondary schools

  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge

  • Engages and motivates learners of all abilities

  • Is committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing

  • Works collaboratively within a department
