Teaching Personnel are now recruiting for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) who has experience assisting children on an individual basis, in small groups and during whole class work.

We require you to have strong communication, organisation, and creativity skills in order to develop in this role. The successful candidate will have experience assisting the class teacher when needed and supporting the development of effective learning.

This is a mainstream Primary school located in Plymouth, they support around 90 – 110 pupils each academic year and have been described to have a great sense of humour.

Requirements:

  • First Aid trained (desired not required)
  • A relevant Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools
  • A sounds understanding of child development
  • Experience working across a SEN/mainstream Primary school
  • Child Workforce Enhanced DBS (or be willing to purchase one through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
