Make a Real Difference – Higher Level Teaching Assistant Needed
Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temp-Perm, Full-time, Term Time + 5 Training Days
Salary: £24,482.60 actual (£28,500 FTE)
Experience with phonics or ELSA support is a bonus

We’re looking for an exceptional Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary setting in Wisbech. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in our Inclusion and SEN teams, focusing on phonics and tailored support for students.


About the Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality support to students across a range of subjects.
  • Play a key role in phonics programmes and interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to ensure every child reaches their potential.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

  • Have experience as an HLTA or in a similar role (Primary experience welcome!).
  • Are passionate about helping pupils succeed and overcome barriers to learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
