Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Boscombe (BH1)

Location: Boscombe, BH1
Salary: £95-£105 per day
Contract Type: Full-time
⏰ Start Date: 13th of April 2026

Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) ready to take the next step in a supportive and welcoming primary school? We are working with one of our lovely schools in Boscombe (BH1) to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic HLTA to join their team.

About the Role:

  • Deliver whole-class teaching in the absence of the class teacher
  • Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Support lesson preparation and contribute to effective classroom management
  • Assist pupils with SEN, EAL, and additional learning needs
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support pupil progress and achievement

About You:

  • Hold a HLTA qualification or have equivalent relevant experience
  • Have experience leading lessons and supporting full classes
  • Be confident working with a range of learning abilities and needs
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management and organisational skills
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
