History Tutor

Slough - Part Time

We are working in partnership with a alternative provision looking to appoint a History Tutor to work with two GCSE students. two afternoons a week. Both pupils are new to the provision that cater for students KS3/KS4 with social emotional mental health needs. History is not a core subject at the provision, so they don't have a teacher in house to provide the students with the academic support required.  

Specifics:

  • Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday afternoons from 12.45pm - 14.15pm until May half term. The students will go off on study leave after May term. 
  • No QTS is required, although beneficial
  • A strong knowledge of the GCSE History curriculum is essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
