Full-time | Permanent (or contract options available)

I am currently partnering with a well-respected secondary school in Yeovil seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced educators and ambitious Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are keen to grow within a supportive and progressive school environment.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality History lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience beneficial but not essential)
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities
✅ The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS (or be working towards it)
- Possess strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for History
- Demonstrate effective classroom management and clear communication skills
- Be committed to supporting student progress and raising attainment
- Show a proactive attitude and work well as part of a team
