History Teacher – Secondary School | Weymouth | September Start
Are you a passionate and inspiring History Teacher looking for a new opportunity from September? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming secondary school in Weymouth who are seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and helping students develop a genuine interest in History. The successful candidate will join a supportive department with a strong focus on academic achievement, creativity, and student development.
The Role:
- Teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with Key Stage 5 experience desirable but not essential)
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
- Supporting students to achieve their full potential
- Contributing positively to the wider life of the school
- Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Humanities department
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A strong subject knowledge and passion for History
- A commitment to creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply

Contract: Full-time (Permanent/Temporary options available depending on suitability)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
