History Teacher – Secondary School | Weymouth | September Start

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and helping students develop a genuine interest in History. The successful candidate will join a supportive department with a strong focus on academic achievement, creativity, and student development.

The Role:

• Teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with Key Stage 5 experience desirable but not essential)
• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
• Supporting students to achieve their full potential
• Contributing positively to the wider life of the school
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Humanities department

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A strong subject knowledge and passion for History
• A commitment to creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply
