History Teacher – Full-Time | Warrington Area | September 2026 Start
Salary: M1 – UPS1 (in line with the teaching scale)
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Key Stages: KS3 & GCSE (Ages 11–16)
We are currently working with a large, high-performing secondary school in the Warrington area that is seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators to thrive in a supportive and ambitious environment focused on student achievement and progression.
The Role
As a History Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality History lessons across KS3 and GCSE
- Take full responsibility for planning, teaching, and assessment
- Adapt and differentiate lessons to support students of all abilities
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
- Collaborate with a strong Humanities department to maintain high teaching standards
- Contribute to the wider school community and uphold a positive learning culture

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching History up to GCSE level
- Strong classroom management skills
- A genuine passion for teaching and improving student outcomes
