History Teacher – Dorchester

Full-Time | Start ASAP

A well-regarded and forward-thinking secondary school in Dorchester is seeking an enthusiastic History Teacher to join their Humanities department as soon as possible. This full-time role offers the chance to become part of a supportive and ambitious team dedicated to delivering high-quality education.

The successful candidate will teach engaging and well-structured History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop strong historical understanding, analytical skills, and a genuine interest in the past.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised qualification)
  • Strong subject knowledge in History and experience teaching KS3/KS4
  • Confident classroom management and the ability to inspire learners
  • Ability to plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students
  • Flexibility and a commitment to meeting the needs of all learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
