History Teacher – Secondary School
Location: Bridport, Dorset
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on Experience)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-respected secondary school in Bridport that is seeking an enthusiastic History Teacher to join their successful Humanities department.

This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring educator who can engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of history and encouraging academic achievement. The school prides itself on its supportive leadership team, positive learning environment, and commitment to staff development.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Have experience teaching History at secondary level.
  • Be able to plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
  • Be committed to raising standards and supporting student progress.
  • Work effectively as part of a collaborative department.
