Role Responsibilities – Secondary History Teacher:

• Teach History at KS3 and KS4 in secondary schools

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated History lessons

• Maintain excellent classroom management and positive behaviour strategies

• Assess, track, and support pupil progress in History

• Develop students’ critical thinking, historical enquiry, and analytical skills

Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Experience teaching History in secondary education

• Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills

• Passion for History teaching and learning

• Commitment to raising attainment and improving outcomes for all learners
