HLTA Opportunity — Full-Time Role in a Liverpool Primary School
Start Date: June 2025 | Ongoing into September 2025 and beyond
Location: Liverpool, L6

Are you a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next rewarding role? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a dedicated HLTA to join a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Liverpool starting in June 2025. This is an exciting opportunity that will continue through to the end of the academic year and into September as the new year begins.

About the Role:
As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting both pupils and staff across the school. Your duties will include:

  • Providing PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) cover across various year groups.

  • Offering targeted TA support, helping to raise attainment and support pupil progress.

  • Assisting with lunch cover duties, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all pupils.

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or relevant experience delivering whole-class cover.

  • Previous experience in a primary school setting.

  • Strong behaviour management skills.

  • A positive, flexible, and proactive approach.

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
