Salary ranges from: £31,650 to £51,048

We are partnering with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Poole that is looking to appoint a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join its thriving Humanities department from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to engage students in meaningful discussions around religion, philosophy, ethics, and world beliefs while fostering curiosity, understanding, and respect.

The successful candidate will teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. As part of a collaborative Humanities team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality lessons that develop students' critical thinking, communication skills, and appreciation of different cultures and perspectives. What we are looking for:

• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, Or equivalent).
• Strong organisational skills and classroom management skills.
• Able to plan and deliver structured and professional lessons.
• A strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Religious Education.
• The ability to build rapport and strong communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability within the classroom, tailoring the education to each student’s needs.
