Salary ranges from: £31,650 to £51,048

A highly regarded secondary school in Poole is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher to join its successful Humanities department from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young people through the study of religion, philosophy, and ethics, helping them develop a greater understanding of different beliefs, cultures, and perspectives.
You will teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for a suitably experienced candidate. Through engaging and thought-provoking lessons, you will encourage students to question, reflect, and debate a range of moral, ethical, and philosophical issues while developing strong critical thinking and communication skills.

- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, Or equivalent).
- Strong organisational skills and classroom management skills.
- Able to plan and deliver structured and professional lessons.
- A strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Religious Education.
- The ability to build rapport and strong communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability within the classroom, tailoring the education to each student’s needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
