Salary ranges from: £31,650 to £51,048

We are working with a highly regarded secondary school in Bournemouth that is seeking to appoint a passionate Religious Education Teacher to join its welcoming and successful Humanities department from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and encourage thoughtful discussion around religion, ethics, philosophy, and contemporary issues.

The successful candidate will teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for candidates with the appropriate experience. You will become part of a collaborative Humanities department that values engaging, thought-provoking teaching and encourages students to develop critical thinking, empathy, and respect for diverse beliefs and perspectives. What we are looking for:

• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, Or equivalent).
• Strong organisational skills and classroom management skills.
• Able to plan and deliver structured and professional lessons.
• A strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Religious Education.
• The ability to build rapport and strong communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability within the classroom, tailoring the education to each student’s needs.
