Fully Qualified Maths Teacher
Location: Liverpool
Start Date: September 2026 (earlier start available for the right candidate)
Salary: M1 – UPS (in line with experience)
Contract Type: Full-time (part-time considered)
About the Role
Teaching Personnel Liverpool is currently seeking a dedicated and fully qualified Maths Teacher to join one of our valued partnership secondary schools in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will play a key role in fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students to achieve their full academic potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support students of varying abilities, including those with additional learning needs
- Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
- Uphold school policies and maintain high standards of behaviour and attainment
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Commitment to student progress and wellbeing
- Strong communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
