Head of School – High Wycombe

Lead. Inspire. Change Lives.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head of School to lead a specialist SEN & Alternative Provision setting in Wolverhampton on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong leader committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where young people with SEN, SEMH, and additional needs can thrive.

The Role

  • Lead the day-to-day running and strategic direction of the school
  • Drive excellence in teaching, learning, behaviour, and wellbeing
  • Support and develop staff
  • Promote a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Ensure safeguarding and compliance standards are maintained

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS, QTLS, or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Leadership experience within a school or AP setting
  • Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and behaviour support
  • Passionate, resilient, and student-focused

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
