Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a number of special needs schools who are seeking recent or upcoming graduates to work as a Teaching Assistant in one of their schools. They are looking for someone who has a passion for supporting young people who have various needs. The schools cater for children who have Autism, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.
- Full time and part time opportunities available
- Earn up to £300 per week
- Supporting pupils inside the classroom
- Work in Stockport
- Access a range of CPD courses to bolster personal learning and development
The role of a Teaching Assistant is to support the class Teacher. You will need to make sure that all the pupils are engaged and involved in the classwork, but also to keep noise levels to a minimum. A major role in working in a special need school is providing personal care and toileting.
Highlights of this Teaching Assistant opportunity include;

- Ad-hoc supply work available to cover absences and staff training
- Immediate work after a smooth registration process
- Pay to reflect your experience, earn up to £9 per hour (£57 - £65 per day)
- The opportunity to develop your experience and undertake certified training
