Job description

Stockport Secondary schools are looking fro graduates with a degree in an English, Maths or Science to deliver intervention and classroom support in September.

Teaching Personnel will provide graduates with Secondary school teaching experience working as a classroom support assistant or working with student sin a small group or 1:1 basis. You will use your excellent subject knowledge to support teachers and help students in KS3 and KS4 reach their progress targets.

Highlights for graduate intervention posts;

  • Daily pay rates and weekly pay of up to GBP350 per week  
  • First hand teaching experience supporting experienced teachers within the classroom
  • Platform to secure teacher training positions in teacher training schools
  • Working alongside experienced core subject teachers

We work closely with our client schools who are looking to raise attainment for their students in the new academic year and close the gap of students from a disadvantaged background or C-D borderline.

Expectations of graduates;

  • 2:2 degree or above in an English, Maths or Science related degree
  • Passion for teaching and interest in securing a PGCE placement
  • Previous experience of working within an education setting
  • Professional attitude  and ability to make an impact on the students
